The Annual Meeting is open to all members of the Society and their guests Non-Member physicians and Residents, Fellows and Allied health Professionals.   The deadline for pre-registration is April 25, 2008.  After this date, participants may register on-site at the Four Seasons Hotel.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT
Please make checks payable to the Southern California Vascular Surgical Society.  The Society regrets that it cannot accept credit cards as a form of payment at this time.
 
REGISTRATION DEADLINE/CANCELLATION POLICY:
The deadline for pre-registration is April 25, 2008.  Written requests for refunds must be received by April.  We regret that no refunds will be made following April 28, 2008.  All refunds are subject to a $50.00 processing fee.

On behalf of the Southern California Vascular Surgical Society, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Four Seasons Hotel, Westlake Village, CA.  The special reduced meeting rate for single or double occupancy is as follows:

Deluxe Rooms will have either a King Bed or two Double Beds.

+ + Rates are subject to state, local and occupancy tax currently at 10% per room per night tax.  Porterage charges are $15.00 for roundtrip and $5.00 for attendant charges.

I am pleased to invite you to exhibit at the 26th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Southern California Vascular Surgical Society, May 2-4, 2008 at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village.   Our Program Committee has developed a terrific educational program including practical information for the practicing surgeon as well as the latest and evolving clinical advances in our field.   In addition, the Annual Meeting will continue to offer presentations by residents, fellows, and medical students and will award a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prize for “Best Resident Presentation”.

This year our invited speakers include Sean P. Roddy, MD from The Vascular Group, PLLC in Albany, New York; Blair Keagy, MD from UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina; David Cossman and Wesley Moore.  Topics to be presented include Billing, Coding and Reimbursement Issues, third party insurance carriers and current status of Carotid Stenting versus Endarterectomy.

More than most fields and more than anytime in our history, vascular surgery is seeing unprecedented changes.  These changes are incredibly exciting and largely based on significant technological advances.  As such, your participation in our event is more important that just financial support.  It is key to educating physicians in our community.  The Annual Meeting typically attracts approximately 125 vascular surgeons and caregivers from southern California.  During the meeting, Continental Breakfasts and Breaks will be held in the exhibit area to increase interaction between you and our guests.  Additionally, registered representatives are invited to the Welcome Reception on May 2, 2008 and other social functions.

Exposure to your company’s products and ideas are increasingly important to us.  I urge your company to support the meeting with an educational exhibit in the amount of $2,500.    Your support would go directly toward the Resident Research Awards and educational sessions.
